Always had a dream of performing. Know that talent lies within the musicians but most people like eye candy. Can be that eye candy!! Know about Aerosmith, Elton John, ELO, BTO, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac, etc. Don't judge a book by its cover!! Exploit the ridiculous trends. Not looking to make a name for myself, just want to realize a dream. Have what it takes. Give me a chance.

Incendiary lyricist wants to set fire to the charts...

Replysatanarchangel@gmail.com

A few years ago, I became p*ssed off at the whole world...

Everywhere, I saw marketing and bullsh*t triumphing over talent and quality. Although this was true in every facet of life and entertainment, it was certainly nowhere better displayed and demonstrated than in the world of music.

Brittany outsells Eddie Vedder? WTF is that all about?

Brittany and her ilk get signed and thousands of better musicians and groups are still looking for a break?

I sat back and thought about why this is the case and what I could do to overcome the situation.

We all know and there is no denying that corporate politics plays a large role in which artists are signed and promoted... and having the corporate money machine behind you is almost a guarantee of at least a moderate degree of success.

Another trait that helps in today's music world is, ironically and sadly, not having a real vision of what you want your music to be or not having the will to stick with that vision. If you lack a vision or the will, you are much easier for the corporate music world to mold into what they want to promote and sell.

Attractiveness and appearance often plays a role in who succeeds also. Whole there is only so much one can do to change their level of attractiveness, there is certainly a lot that can be done to augment one's appearance. Kiss had good songs in retrospect, but do you doubt that it was their marketing that turned them into a sensation and spawned the Kiss Army?

What else helps tremendously in moving your band to the head of the line for getting signed?

One is to have a singer that can actually sing. I have seen dozens of bar bands who were just as good a musicians as the bands who sell out the arenas. More often then not, however, the quality of the singing is not as high. This is an observation for your benefit. I can't even sing in the shower...

The final way that you can bring your band to the front of the line is to have attention getting lyrics. The more incendiary or the more grotesquely sexual, the more likely that the lyrics will be picked up as "cool" by young males... who are probably the ones you want to think you are cool, to follow you, and to buy your music.

With that in mind, I wrote some extremely incendiary lyrics with the idea of finding musical collaborators and becoming obscenely rich.

That was six years ago. In the interim I have allowed these lyrics to be unrecorded and unpromoted. They are so incendiary that I actually was worried that I would be taken away in the night to a rubber room if anyonme ever saw them.

With this add, I am searching for a collaborating band to write the music and record the lyrics. Not only are their lyrics, their is a promotional packaging idea to accompany them. There is no doubt in my mind that this promotional slant wound be very appealling in these poor economic times when a sizable portion of our nation's youth (and the population in general) feels disenfranchised from opportunity, hope and the American Dream.

Are you up to the challenge and ready for the glory?

(I actually am a pretty nice guy. I am just tired of making someone else rich. I want to "cash in" for me and for you.

"Let's do this thing..."

FUTURE Grammy STARS Produced by OCTANE-Records-Music.com!

SEATTLE, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Hear the difference at Octane Records with signed Recording Artists that now include the following New Artists: Aziel, Jailbird, HUD, Heath, Mr. Rakafela, Maggot Brain, and Octane featuring Shock G, Humpty Hump (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/rakaoctane1), and Snoop Dogg (http://www.rogueisland.com). Produced By Brent DeRocher for Octane Records.

Most people will never forget Aziel for his chart-topping hit "Fall In Love Again." The day it hit KCCN FM 100, Hawaii's premier radio station, it immediately made its way onto the daily "Top 5 at 5," becoming the number-one most requested song for six weeks. Another hit followed - a remake of Stevie Wonder's "Ribbon In The Sky." Listeners couldn't get enough of Aziel's silky R&B voice. Aziel is currently seeking full radio rotation on all mainstream USA radio stations for his album "Take You Away" that features music-writing and production by multi-platinum legendary songwriter LeRoy Martez Bell, and music writer Linton Weems. With several hit songs and "GROUNDBREAKING" industry sound, this project commands a space within the R&B community.

Aziel Toeaina, born January 1, 1978 in San Francisco, California, is a musical genius who can switch from his R&B delivery to Hip Hop and Rap, unlike many artists on the market today. Aziel's critics say he may be as good as Usher and Justin Timberlake. Aziel also plans on being a Grammy Nominee and a Grammy Winner in the very near future.

Jailbird, born Jeffrey Sayer in 1978 in Olympia, Washington, is destined to be a rap superstar; the kind of superstar that understands a good hook, strong songwriting and the importance of a great performance. Jailbird's critics say he may be as good as Eminem. Jailbird is a Rap Artist that plans on being a Grammy Nominee.

HUD was born Anthony Hudson in Memphis, Tennessee in April of 1971. A Rap Artist who loves performing, HUD began entertaining in early 1986 at talent shows. His mother, who fell upon hard times while HUD was young, was a former background singer for the likes of B. B. King and other popular Memphis recording artists and is credited for introducing HUD to the profession of music.

Mr. Rakafela, born Alvin E. Kirton III in Oakland, California in July of 1973, was highly influenced in the early 1990s by the success of Tupac Shakur and Shock G from Digital Underground. Being deeply rooted in Tupac and Digital's cliques, Mr. Rakafela developed a Funk/Hip Hop mix which he displays in his latest masterpiece, "Tale of a New Legend" featuring Shock G, Humpty Hump, and Jailbird.

We are a newly formed band of experienced musicians that is looking for a singer. We are in playing shows in indy and bloomington mostly 1 to 2 times a month with a possibility of touring in the future. There is 2 things that we require: one is that you are good, and fit with our music, and secondly(and most importantly) that you have a sense of humor and are into just having a good time. the main idea that everyone shares in this band is that music is really fucking fun to write and perform and we'd like to keep it that way. so here is a link to here some of our demo tracks so you can decide whether or not you'd be into being in our group. www.myspace.com/needasinger .
