Eye of Ra is looking for that experienced and committed didge player. Must be able to come up with hybrid rhythms as well as being able to follow along.
Eye of Ra is tribal, primal, fusion, trance, heavy percussion. This is not your drum circle in the park with hippies playing there didge pipes and guitars to "Cumbya", this is a serious group being formed. Gigs already lined up. We are currently two very experienced drummers/percussionist and looking for our didge player who can committ to practice atleast twice a week. Multi Percussionist, Drummer looking to form a World-Tribal/Fusion band consisting of drums, didge, keys and occasional vocals (female prefered).
My equipment includes the following; 20 piece world drum kit Electronic programmable drum machine Yamaha keyboard system I am looking to form a group who's genre consist of heavy percussion, experienced didgeradoo to creat and accompany hybrid world rhythms, experienced keyboard player to creat and accompany hybrid rhythms as well as solo. Occasional vocals to add to the ambient mix, would prefer a woman for this role. Our style will be new age, modern and progressive. I have a name chosen but will share that with the right people (so no one takes it). I have an affiliation with two recording studios here in Indpls, I have released two CD's during my solo career and have played all over the Midwest.
