As our new Business Manager, thank you for helping Kimball Electronics meet its goal of becoming a 1Billion global company by 2018.

Consider this: Our Business Manager works on some of the most important projects in the medical market segment at Kimball Electronics especially those programs featuring plastics and medical disposables. As a Business Manager, you will contribute to our companys success by communicating Kimballs Package of Value and executing strategic plans to develop and maintain long term relationships in the medical market vertical with existing OEM customers. You will have the opportunity to work at all levels of the organization while traveling globally to ensure a common look and feel for our customers.

If you want to make something happen in the world of plastics, medical disposables and electronics manufacturing, and if you enjoy connecting customers to opportunities, then seriously consider becoming our next Business Manager. Were going to give a bit of preference to those with knowledge of medical injection molding, medical device cleanroom assembly, plastics, disposables, electronics manufacturing experience, and/or technical training, but will consider someone who has demonstrated a high level of performance in program management, negotiation, using effective marketing strategies, building long term relationships, and leading teams.

Key Performance Objectives

Short Term: (0 to 6 months)
:Learn and adopt Kimball Electronics philosophies and culture
:Develop an understanding of the Kimball Customer Management Model and quote development process
:Own and drive Periodic Business Reviews (PBR), Scorecard, Action Plans
:Develop Strategy statements
:Learn and build a rapport with key personnel at the customer locations through regular onsite visits
:Learn and understand key capabilities of each Kimball Electronics facility
:Develop a thorough understanding of current strategy for customer account assignments, including current projects, actions, and issues within the existing customer account
:Assume responsibility for existing launch activities
:Begin the prospecting process of identifying additional opportunities with the current account assignment

Midterm: (6 to 18 months)
:Becoming efficient in the tools we use to manage our accounts using: Business Warehouse, forecast management, ERP system, and our Quote Model
:Development of productivity project plans and profitability reviews
:Understanding and learning to work within the customers processes such as S and OP, E and O claims, AR, and Internal scorecards

Longer Term: (:18 months)
:Assume complete ownership of the customer account assignment
:Create and drive actions for continued growth through actions to ensure profitability, positive cash flow, on time AR
:Create and drive a productivity project plan for each customer assignment
:Drive the customer management model per Kimball philosophy

Other (ad hoc priorities):
:Identify and lead business development improvement processes
