Anytime Fitness Job Description A' Job Title:A' Personal Trainer A' Reports to:A' Club Manager A' Basic Function:A' Assist the club manager in the daily supervision and administration of the facility and programming in accordance with Anytime Fitness policies, procedures, and protocols; conduct fitness testing; prescribe exercise programs; maintain participant files; conduct new member orientation sessions; assist in the development and implementation of health and fitness motivation programs; perform general receptionist and administrative duties; assist with light facility maintenance; carry out other projects as assigned by the Club Manager. A' Requirements:A' Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related discipline from a four year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. A' Essential Duties and Responsibilities: A' A' A' A' Assist in the daily supervision and administration of fitness program A cents € " Interact with fitness center participants to ensure that exercise programs are carried out in a safe manner; offer assistance to members whenever possible; demonstrate excellence in customer service; promote participation in personal training services; proactively address member concerns; provide support for all internal/external programs; report facility problems to Club Manager. A' A' A' A' A' Prescribe exercise programs A cents € " Develop individual exercise programs; implement exercise programs during one-on-one or group personal training sessions; instruct participants on proper exercise technique, use of fitness equipment, and fitness concepts (eg, attaining suggested exercise heart rate). A' A' A' A' A' Conduct new member equipment orientation sessions. A' A' A' A' A' Assist in the development and implementation of health and fitness motivation programs. A' A' A' A' A' Perform general receptionist and administrative duties A cents € " Schedule appointments; answer incoming telephone calls; general filing. A' A' A' A' A' Assist with light facility maintenance A cents € " Preventive equipment maintenance; cleaning of equipment. A' A' A' A' A' Carry out other projects as assigned by Club Manager. A' A' Language Skills:A' Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, prospective clients, and other employees. A' A' Fitness club is seeking a highly motivated , outgoing, and energetic part time/full time personal trainer to work with an already established clientele. Applicant should have a Degree in exercise science or a nationally recognized personal trainer certification A' A' Personal Trainers (PT) are responsible to provide personalized attention, professional instruction, and exercise programming to our clientele, maximizing each client's health, fitness, and wellness goals while providing the highest level of customer service.A' Primary Functions: Assess assigned clientele's fitness goals and limitations.Develop personalized exercise programs that meet the clientele's changing needs and goals; track progress.Motivate and teach clientele how to improve their fitness, strength, flexibility, and/or physique.Provide feedback on correct technique and performance levels.Provide a safe and healthy fitness experience and be prepared to respond to emergency situations.Continue to record and monitor health, weight, fitness, and strength so that they can constantly adjust programs to challenge the clientele.Maintain fitness knowledge and stay up-to-date with current fitness trends and research. Secondary Functions: Assist with sales of personal training to increase client base.Other duties as assigned. Working Conditions: Fitness environment: position requires walking, running, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, racking weights of at least 55 pounds, demonstrating exercises to clients, and A cents € oespottingA cents € clients to assure safety. A' Position Requirements: Passion for helping others necessary.Strong communication and listening skills are paramount.Strong customer service skills; drive to meet and exceed goals and customer expectations.Experience in the fitness industry preferred.Being comfortable using and demonstrating a variety of fitness equipment.Must have basic knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology.Demonstrate a positive attitude.Current CPR certification.
