We are currently seeking a talented, motivated and detail oriented HR Assistant to be responsible for providing administrative support to day:to:day operations of Human Resources. This support includes being the face of the HR team by greeting employees and answering general HR questions. Must be able to keep HR issues and paperwork confidential. In addition, the incumbent will also process a high volume of data (electronic and paper) accurately and efficiently.A: Perform a wide variety of responsible clerical, technical, administrative, and office support duties in support of the DamarA?s Human Resources Department.A: Provide customer service, both in:person and by telephone; screen and direct telephone calls; take and relay messages; answer general questions from employees and other stakeholders regarding human resources; respond to employment verification requests, and other requests for information.A: Responsible for effectively recording, maintaining, and reporting Human Resources information. Human Resource files must be maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and Damar policies. A: Enters new hires into the HRIS system, establishes new employee personnel files and registers new employees on the biometric time clocks. A: Attends mandatory staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.A: Adheres to all policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook and Damar Operational Policies and Procedures Manual.A: Completes incident reports, including reporting any suspected exploitation, abuse, or neglect of a client.A: Ensures that the Damar meets its quality improvement, evaluation and reporting requirements for areas of responsibility.A: Actively participates in and/or oversees data collection and the use of data to improve outcomes, practices and service delivery.A: Utilizes data collection in relation to driving and tracking outcomes and achieving Damar initiatives and goals.A: Takes pride and ownership in DamarA?s facilities and assigned work areas. A: Acts as a good steward of DamarA?s finances.A: Performs other duties as assigned.Education: Two years of college level course work in business, personnel management, or closely related field. Significant related experience may substitute for education.Experience: Two years of administrative experience.Equipment Familiarity: Proficiency with MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Certifications, Licenses or Special Training: A: Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs as detailed in policy 1.HR.02 Pre:Employment and Employee Background Checks. A: Valid Indiana driverA?s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of DamarA?s insurance carrier. A: Successful completion of pre:employment drug screen and physical required. Abilities: A: Maintain confidentiality in maintaining critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.A: Understand, interpret, and apply general administrative and departmental policies and procedures.A: Work under steady pressure with frequent interruptions and a high degree of public contact by phone or in person.A: Read, understand, and review documents for accuracy and relevant information.A: Use applicable office terminology, forms, documents, and procedures in the course of the work.A: Use sound jud
