A NIH-funded POSTDOCTORAL position is available to study HOST-PATHOGEN INTERACTIONS in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Indiana University School of Medicine. The project focuses on how the Lyme disease pathogen employs new cyclic dinucleotide second messengers to survive in the vector and mammalian hosts. This position provides an excellent training and career development opportunity in the area of infectious diseases and bacterial pathogenesis. A degree of Ph.D. or M.D. with strong molecular biology experience is required.
