Chamberlain College of Nursing is seeking Part:Time Visiting Professors, interested in teaching liberal arts courses to nursing students enrolled in our Bachelors of Science in Nursing program, at our Indianapolis, IN. campus. The typical course of instruction to include: HIST:405: United States History and HIST:410: Contemporary HistoryThese courses examine American history from the formation of the 13 original colonies and also major 20th:century political, social, economicand technological developments in a global context. SPCH:275: Public Speaking and SPCH:277: Interpersonal CommunicationThis course teaches basic elements of effective public speaking and also ways in which people interact verbally and non:verbally and teaches basic principles of interpersonal communication including perception, self:concept, persuasive communication, nonverbal communication, semantics, roles and norms and communication barriers.
