Mission of Service Desk Technical Analyst: This position supports installation, maintenance and testing of computer systems and peripherals within DEFENDERS established standards and guidelines; one:on:one consultancy to customers and network staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist staff with the installation, configuration, and usability of desktop computers, telephony equipment, and hardware peripherals.Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.Works with the Senior Service Desk Technical Analyst, Business Support Team Lead, and Network Operations staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from clients.Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including file servers, email servers, application servers, and administrative systems. Responsible for ordering and the on:going inventory management of stationary items to be used by all of the IT staff functions.Provides on:call support after hours as assigned and plete all other duties as assigned. Background and Minimum Years Experience: Education: AssociateA?s degree or relevant technical experience Exposure with Android and iOS devicesExposure with Microsoft client operating systems.Excellent problem solving abilitiesAwareness of Active Directory and performing basic user management tasksExperience with Office products suites and equivalent Outlook versionsAwareness of Microsoft patch management solutionsAwareness of Microsoft system management solutionsInterest in VoIP technologiesInterest in virtualization technologiesMust complete and pass a pre:employment drug/background check.If found to be qualified for the next step of our process, you may receive an email and/or text message from our DEFENDERS Talent Attraction team.
