JavaScript Developer Up to $110k per year Pinnacle Partners is assisting their client in the search for a JavaScript Developer. This is the opportunity to join an ever-growing and successful organization in downtown Indianapolis. They are currently transitioning their web development to a. In this role you will collaborate with your team to help steer technical decisions and architect/develop new solutions, as they transition into JavaScript frameworks such as React.js and Node.js. RESPSONSIBILITIES: Design and implement robust, scalable and supportable apps Make informed recommendations/decisions to improve our technical landscape, enable our mission, and reinforce the bottom line. Stay on top of technology trends and suggest ways to pragmatically leverage them. Recommend development standards and processes Be an excellent problem solver, adaptable and organized in a fast-paced environment with changing demands and priorities. REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years web application development experience (HTML expected) 2+ years with JavaScript frameworks (React is a plus) 2+ years building REST APIs (Node.js and Hapi a plus) Experience building performant and scalable websites and APIs Solid understanding of Functional programming and OO concepts Experience with Agile development tools and best practices such as GIT, automated unit tests, CI (Jenkins), dependency management (Nexus), and static code analysis Expertise in database development using SQL and persistence frameworks (Postgres is a plus) Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha and Jest TERMS: This is a direct-hire role that pays up to $100k, based on experience.
