PCM is an exciting and rewarding place to work.The Help Desk Analyst is commissioned to support client personnel/executives and provide a level of support not available through the traditional IT Help Desk and internal IT resources. The Analyst must demonstrate specialized knowledge, superior response and personal attention. Additionally, the PCM resource is the primary engineer for WordPress administration and desktop/mobile device support. The PCM resource is also the backup for the PCM resource for other departments in the same building.Help Desk Support Analyst with the skillset to support both WordPress and Desktop/Mobile devices within an enterprise environment. Basic/intermediate WordPress administration skills supporting executive level stall, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems with special application software and its integration with the standard Windows operating system and Office stall, configure, upgrade, diagnose and resolve problems on peripheral devices.Assist with asset management: surplus, transfer, and upgrade of computers to maximize capacity and capability within the departmentData transfer required as a result of a hardware upgrade or software migration.Education and training for special applications, new operating systems, shrink:wrap Microsoft Office products.Provide assistance to personnel traveling with various connection problems or other support.Conference Room support A?How to use the conference room facilitiesA? How do I doA?? (Various questions answered and ad hoc training)VPN SupportPassword Assistance1st Level Hardware diagnosisAssist with data backups : sometimes holding the backup until verification that replacement drive or systems is restored properlyMinimize the downtime associated with software/hardware problems. Enhance productivity.Open Help Desk tickets (for users) after troubleshooting as necessary Basic/intermediate WordPress administration skills (WordPress Network/MU skills a plus)Basic Java skillsBasic PHP skillsWebex Meeting/Event setup/admin skills Associates Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred; or equivalent education and experience1:2 years experience in a technical support environment, call center, or help desk preferred2 years experience in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suite of tools preferredExcellent customer service, writing, interpersonal and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of communication technologies (WAN/LAN), Video Conferencing, VOIP phone preferredMobile Device Management experience preferredIT Service Management knowledge preferred (ie.
