The Finance and Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing day:to:day project financial processes to ensure contract compliance. Develop and maintain the projectA?s financial records and budgetManage, serve and oversee all financial processes including billing to client, accruals, vendor invoices, and bank account reconciliationsParticipates in developing budgeting and forecasting strategy plans, while performing variance analysis between forecast and actualsParticipate in developing pricing for add:ons, as necessaryPrepare financial budgeting, forecasting and all required division financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisDevelop and maintain the projects financial policies and procedures, including policies and procedures for the security and privacy of financial informationParticipate in any internal or external auditsWork with the management team to develop, administer, and implement process improvements in financial analysis, annual operating plan development, and forecasting, as well as consolidating, analyzing, reviewing and reporting on all financial mattersPerform other duties as assigned by leadershipBachelors Degree RequiredMinimum four years of related experience requiredExperience providing financial oversight of health and human services project operationsAbility to direct and maintain process improvement efforts in accounting operationsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to build positive relationships among senior management, staff, and State personnelWillingness to learn innovative and creative approaches to using business applicationsAttention to detailExcellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to perform comfortably in a fast:paced, deadline:oriented work environmentAbility to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work as a team member, as well as independently A committed and diverse workforce is our most important resource.MAXIMUS is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.MAXIMUS provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status or disabled status.
